Serious failure of compartmentation. No Alternative Evacuation Route. The sister tower of Lakanal house where the previous worst fire in a high rise occurred in 2009 before the Grenfell Tower Fire, killing 6 and injuring 20 people. Huge costs for remediation have already been spent replacing combustible materials with more combustible materials. Now £16m is due to be spent and all residents have to be rehoused. It is impossible to carry out any evacuation whilst fire-fighting is ongoing in one staircase
